trueTrue of false: General MacArthur was fired for his military decisions?
It's true. He directly disobeyed a direct order from Eisenhower and Truman not to fly planes into Chinese air space during the Korean War. He did it anyway, and the consequential counter attack resulted in the worst defeat by American Marines in their history. Truman then fired MacArthur.
Not true. He was relplaced (by General Matthew Ridgway) for insubordination. He publicly disagreedwith the way President Truman was conducting the war. Truman, under his authority as commander in chief, made the change.

Cheers
He was fired for mouthing off to the media during the Korean war. Truman took that as challenging the authority of the president and fired him.
Truman and his cronies bungled the United States into the Korean debacle.

MacArthur was just trying to clean up the mess with minimum loss of

American lives.
Yes, by President Truman. From what I understand, he wanted all out war with China, which had gone in to help the North Koreans. I don't know if that is why or not.
True, MacArthur was fired because he wanted to nuke the crap out of China, but President Truman disagreed.
its true. for what he have done in WW2 he wants to go for the attack rather than just leave them alone when they surrender already.
He was canned because he wouldn't follow the directives of the Commander in Chief, Harry Truman.
that happens to any one when they tell the truth. canned.

he wanted a Nuclear war with China
