Does the fire department have to check the school before we are allowed back in if there is a false alarm?

Or can the custodian just turn them off and we are allowed back in? Or does it depend on the school? I remember in Elementary school when we some kid would pull the fire alarm we had to wait outside for 25 minutes until the fire department came. At my middle school when someone would pull it, we would only be outside for 5 minutes and the fire department would get there when we were already back in class. But in High school, the fire department comes.Does the fire department have to check the school before we are allowed back in if there is a false alarm?
It might be that the middle school had a system of telling which alarm was pulled. From what I've heard in my schools(I've been to 9), they have to have a firefighter check before letting you back in.Does the fire department have to check the school before we are allowed back in if there is a false alarm?
In our school the fire department has to check just because that's the rule, and make sure there is nothing wrong. They also might be checking what set it off where i live it gets REALLY cold so sometimes that sets it off a few times a day but on those really cold days we don't have to go outside we just wait by the doors or if there is an emergency we just go to the division building across the street and wait there, some students also go to the gym because it is still attached but kind out no in the main area of the school
Each school is probably different but they should wait until the fire department has the chance to inspect in case, it's not a false alarm. If something is actually wrong, people can get hurt or die if precautions are not taken and the school can be sued.
It needs to be the fire department they need to make sure nothing is wrong, and the fire alarms are not starting to malfunction.
yes -talk to the administrators about your district's policy.
